Here we see church conflict even early on (this is a reality in any community especially in churches. Very often we run from this reality to another church in America, but if you stick around and treat each other like Christ would you really see Jesus show up in conflict). The disciples solved this conflict with great wisdom! The Grecian Jews were more Hellenistic and thus spoke Greek where the Hebraic Jews spoke Aramaic and Hebrew and were more traditional to the Jewish customs. At this point only Jews made up the majority of converts to Christianity.
In verse 6 we see the beginning of a long tradition in the Christian church. That is the laying on of hands. There was a point in Church history where leaders on the church could actually trace back to which apostle laid hands on all there predecessors! Almost like a family tree.
