Luke 12

Chapter 12 has a lot to it. One thing to notice is the idea of watching for Jesus again. Also Jesus mentions that he plans to bring peace not division. A very hard word from Jesus, but think about it if a new covenant is being cut what does that mean for the people of the old covenant? How much are we holding on to the old when we should be seeking the new? How much are we holding on to the old self when we should be seeking what Jesus is trying to make us into?
